Conundrum
Conundrum is a law unto himself. Young and arrogant, he thinks that he has no adversary. His favourite thing is to tease his prey with riddles. They must answer his riddle. If they guess right, their reward is to ask him one. If he get's it right, he eats you.
He prefers the shadows to bright sunlight, hence his colouring of light on an oil sheen.
He will learn in time that humans will be his enemy due to their misunderstanding of the noble creatures but also his habit of eating people!
